Oct. 15, 4 – 7 p.m. – Sunday/Funday Concert & Food Trucks

The Topanga Community Center has received a grant from Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and the LA County Arts Commission to host a free Sunday Funday concert for our community on October 15 from 4 to 7pm.

Making their first appearance on the TCC stage, the Urban Renewal Project is a 12-piece LA-based band that uses the instruments of a bygone era to create a signature sound, blurring the boundaries between styles like soul, jazz and hip-hop. The group performs upbeat originals and fresh interpretations of everything from jazz standards to recent hits. They’ve toured nationally from Rockwood Music Hall to the San Jose Jazz Summerfest, and their recordings have received airplay on influential radio stations across the country, including KCRW-Santa Monica and WDCB-Chicago.

Food trucks will be on-hand and food and beverages will be available for purchase. This event is sponsored by Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and the Topanga Community Center.
