Had a great X-mas, and awaiting a great New Years Eve? Have time to kill meanwhile?

We had a fun showing of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ last week and to build upon that and keeping in the spirit of gathering and celebration we now present to you. ‘Bring Your Own Short Films Night’.

Thursday, December 29th, 7PM

Come join us at the Topanga Community Club to celebrate filmmakers small and large.

Watch Joe’s short film, or bring your own.

*Only 5 mins or less of the films can be shown due to time.
*This is first come first serve so sign up fast.

Come join your TOPANGA FAMILY for a beautiful Holiday screening of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’Directed by Frank Capra. With James Stewart, Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore, Thomas Mitchell.$9 Adults
$6 Kids

Before 5PM – Free, if you come to help set up.

There will be decorations, a Christmas tree, decorations, a warm fire to warm your hearts, and hot coco to warm you.

Before the feature presentation, we will be presenting a short film about Cine Institute (http://www.cineinstitute.com/news/recovery-and-reportage)

We are planning on keeping the decorations up until New Years so you can enjoy our TOPANGA LIVING ROOM!

Car Wash – Dec 17th

For $10 you…get your car washed on December 17th at the Community House. 9am – 1pm. Hand soaping, pressure washing, even towel drying. And while you wait, enjoy a “cuppa cawfee” too. Another fundraising activity of the Community House’s NEW “hands on” leadership. We’ll be there along with others you’l recognize, washing, serving coffee, and offering food for sale too. So stop by, say hello, support the Community House, drink coffee, schmooze with friends, and have a nice clean car for the Thanksgiving holidays.
That way we can all be thankful.

Topanga Talent Show!….featuring super-talented singers, dancers, hula- hoopers and other performing artists of all ages, from next door and across the canyon, the show promises to awe, inspire, delight, and entertain (again).Suggested donation is only $12 per person and all proceeds go to the show’s joint sponsors, Topanga Youth Services and the Topanga Creek Watershed Committee, so please come out, enjoy a great show, and support your friends and neighbors and these important local groups.We still have a few performance slots available if YOU have a talent you’d like to share! Contact us ASAP to be added to the bill.
